12th Nov 2007 Josie So Joe - what will you be giving your teachers for Christmas?! Any ideas on similar lines will be gratefully received...

21st Oct 2007 Afro Apricot jam is my favorite and use to only have it when I went to my best friends house. I remember it use to always be in a tall thin jar and now I know how to make it I can garentee that a few of my friends (well, I need some for myself) will be reciving a jar.

14th Aug 2007 Orange and apple I love your web site

13th Aug 2007 dog I think I will make some but I will keep it all to my self,I love jam.

20th Jul 2007 swede I have no memory of ever giving my teachers anything at the end of the year, except the sense of relief that they must have felt that I wouldn't be in their class the following year, of course. Maybe if I had though, they might have appreciated my unique sense of humour a bit more. Home made gifts are a great idea because it avoids any sense of competitiveness that store-bought gifts engenders (who spent most money..?). My kids love wrapping up the cakes they made for teacher.
