Loud fun that keeps young ones amused for quite a long time on wintry afternoons… Gather all the children together in one room and ask everyone to guess how many Christmas cards/tree baubles/Santas/stars etc are in the room. When everyone’s had a guess, write their answers down.
Then ask two children to run around and count the cards/baubles/Santas – this is when it gets loud, as everyone joins in shouting and counting together. The person whose guess is nearest gets a point, and the first to five points is the winner. |
