Marshmallow Snowballs

A cool, chewy treat for a hot summer’s day. Children can make these themselves, so long as they’re careful with the skewers.

1 packet marshmallows
Chocolate for dipping – we used Cadbury’s Dairy Milk but Bourneville or other favourites work just as well
Hundreds and thousands
Some bamboo/wooden skewers

Slide a wooden skewer through three marshmallows. Repeat to make as many marshmallow kebabs as you can eat. Place the kebabs on greaseproof paper on a baking tray, and put in the freezer for an hour. Melt some chocolate in a heavy-based saucepan, then apply the chocolate (we used a brush/and or spoon) around half of each marshmallow. Dip or sprinkle hundreds and thousands over the chocolate. Keep the marshmallow snowballs in the fridge until ready to eat.
