This is a good paper and pencil game for older children who like problem solving. Two or three people can play at once. Draw six to ten small circular points at random on a piece of paper (the more points, the longer the game). Two or three players then take it in turns to draw a single line between two points, adding a new point somewhere on the new line. There are two rules: you can't cross a line with the line you draw, or have more than three lines emerging from any one point.
Keep playing, drawing new lines and points: the shape on the paper will begin to resemble a big bubble. The winner is the person who draws the final line, ensuring no one else can complete a turn after them. |
