These fluffy angels look divine hanging from the Christmas tree – or make them into a mobile and let them flutter celestially above the Christmas lunch table.
Each angel requires:
Silver pen
1 wooden bead, 1.5cm diameter
3 white feathers, approximately 10cm long
Gold cord or pipe cleaner, approximately 12cm long
Sellotape
Small gold star or similar
Gold or silver thread, for hanging loop
Gold/white/silver tissue paper (optional)
Draw an angel’s face on the bead with a silver pen.
Push the bottom end of the 3 feathers through the bead so that 1cm pokes out from the top of the bead to make the halo.
Tie the cord around the feathers just below the bead to make the arms. Fix together at the front with a small amount of Sellotape. Stick the gold star on top to hide the seam.
Tie the thread underneath the bead to form a hanging loop at the back. Let the angel fly from the branches of your Christmas tree or in a mobile above the dinner table.
You can also cut some wings out of tissue paper and attach to the back, if they need help in flying.
