A vocal version of hot/cold where you sing along to keep the action moving. One person leaves the room while others decide on a task for them to do, eg: play chopsticks on the piano/take down a picture from the wall.
Back in the room, everyone sings the words ‘Keep on’ quietly to the tune of Auld Lang Syne or any other song everyone knows, getting louder as the person gets ‘warm’ and approaches the piano/picture. The singing continues to help the person figure out what task they're meant to be doing, by getting quieter or louder as they try out various things, and rising to a crescendo as they finish the job. Try doing it without anyone speaking or laughing. Near impossible. |
